We apply the excellent secondary filtration performance of the magnet separator to our cutting work.
Reasons for introduction
Before we introduced the magnet separator, we faced a problem in our machining work with machining centers.
Granular sludge was hard to completely remove after machining, and inevitably accumulated at the tank bottom
over the years. Therefore, we were looking for a solution to the problem.
Machining at our work site is to make prototypes at the request of our customers. Our work site does not
need the removal of sludge day-to-day. For this reason, we conferred with the machine manufacturer for the
removal of accumulated sludge at first. However, it came out that it would take far more time, labor and
cost than our estimation to remove accumulated sludge.
The longer the time required for maintenance work is, the more the daily work, etc. may be bothered, and that
problems should preferably be solved quickly without affecting the work so much. This is the voice of our
work site.
In order to reflect the voice of our work site as much as possible, we began to look for a solution to these
problems.
It was a trade show held several years ago where I got to know the magnet separator of Finetech for the first
time.
Until then, I had not been aware of or even heard of the magnet separator. At the trade show, I received an
explanation of the magnet separator from a sales representative of Finetech in person. Receiving his
explanation, I thought that our problem might be solved by the magnet separator. Later, we decided to
introduce its demonstration machine for evaluation purpose.
Easiness in introduction
When we decided to introduce a demonstration machine, though it was not for official introduction but only
for the evaluation purpose, Finetech gave us thorough explanation how to use the magnet separator.
In order to use one magnet separator for several machining centers, we liked the magnet separator to be
arranged for easy relocation. Including this wish, we told Finetech about our requirements. In response,
Finetech selected Model KS-8Y-1 for us and designed the layout according to our requirements, and we were
able to use the magnet separator as we wished.
Finetech lent us a demonstration machine with no obligation of official introduction on us. From this, we
strongly felt Finetech’s sincere attitude toward us that we could officially introduce one only if we
evaluated the magnet separator to be really suitable to our work.
Therefore, we were lucky in that we were able to freely pass the voice of our work site to Finetech, and
decided official introduction after we were convinced to do so with no worry.
Maintenance and after-sale service
As of this time, because it has passed only one year since our introduction, we have no need of major maintenance or other care.
We had questions, need of adjustment, etc. shortly after the introduction, but Finetech quickly took care of
us about them.
We were able to thoroughly make sure that the selected model of the magnet separator was suitable to our
work at the phase of evaluation with the demonstration machine. Therefore, we do not feel any anxiety about
our use in the future.
We are quite pleased with our present situation where we can provide maintenance for the magnet separator on
our own whenever we need.
