At present, Ibara Seiki has about 20 FINE MAGs.

It was more than 10 years ago that we introduced FINE MAG first time ever. Before then, we had used separators of other manufacturer. However, with those separators, we were in a trouble over sludge that got quick to build up more than ever when work material varied in working process.

To counter this trouble, we began to look into the introduction of new separators with a higher sludge recovery rate compared with the separators in our use. While trying various equipment and methods, we came across FINE MAG of Sumitomo Heavy Industries Finetech, and took it as a candidate to introduce.

In studying the introduction of FINE MAG, we tried a demonstration machine, and found its sludge recovery rate by far higher than that of the separators of other manufacturer in use. Also, we realized the prospective big cutbacks in cost and time loss in cleaning. Thus, we came to decide the official introduction of FINE MAG.

Before the introduction of FINE MAG, the frequency of tank cleaning was once every 2 months or so. After the introduction, however, it was reduced to once every 6 to 12 months or so.

Considering the time loss and cleaning cost due to maintenance accompanied by downtime during cleaning work, the cost cutback by the introduction of FINE MAG is expected by simple arithmetic to be as much as 1/3 or more.

Because Ibara Seiki Co., Ltd. has already more than 20 FINE MAGs, one could argue that the cost performance at all our plants is very good.

I feel that the products of Sumitomo Heavy Industries Finetech are troubleproof, and therefore can be used continuously with no worry.

Because they can be used continuously for long with stable quality as it now stands, such goodness and stability of the products leads to our strong reliance on Sumitomo Heavy Industries Finetech.

We can enjoy smooth communication with their sales staff. We consult with them as to the introduction of the products of Sumitomo Heavy Industries Finetech manufactured not only by Soja Plant but also by other plants.
